DJ Tudo is bringing his Afro-Brazilian grooves to London

By 10 October, 2011

DJ Tudo and his full live band, aka DJ Tudo E Sua Gente de Todo Lugar, are coming to London for a special show at the New Empowering Church on Friday October 28th. This is a great opportunity to hear his album Nos Quintais Do Mundo in all it’s glory, an album that mixed a heavy dub bass end with elements of Afro Beat, Brazilian percussion and samples from field recordings that DJ Tudo collected himself.

Here’s DJ Tudo E Sua Gente de Todo Lugar in action:

DJ Tudo is the alias of Alfredo Bello, a man who also runs a record label Mundo Melhor which releases Alfredo’s own field recordings of traditional Brazilian music. He is also a much in-demand music producer who has worked with Junio Barreto, Porcas Borboletas, Cérebro Eletrônico and Trupe Cha de Boldo among many others. Yet, it’s his DJ Tudo E Sua Gente de Todo Lugar project which is currently getting the most attention, and quite deservedly so. This is gonna be one hell of a show!
