Chile’s Golosa La Orquesta Release New Video Featuring Kevin Johansen
12 December, 2018Offering a flavour of what Chile’s tropical orchestras would have played to entertain the people at social clubs back in the day, Golosa La Orquesta manage to find an old school style that flows around jazz, chachachá and bolero. It’s a traditional mix that has enabled them to play in festivals around the world, with dates in Colombia, Argentina, Denmark, Germany and Hungary already ticked off.
Taken from their latest album Sobre La Ciudad, “Chipi Chipi” features none other than Argentinean milonga singer Kevin Johansen, adding his dramatic interpretation to the already nostalgic song. The video shows the band and the guest singer during the recording sessions at Estudio del Sur and La Makinita in Santiago, Chile.
