Sounds and Colours Bogota Party On Saturday 23rd March In Matik-Matik
19 March, 2013On Saturday 23rd March we’ll be holding a special party in Matik-Matik – Bogotá’s finest experimental music venue – to celebrate the launch of our Sounds and Colours Colombia book. For the night, we have invited some of our favourite Colombian musicians; Andrés Gualdrón y Los Animales Blancos, Carmin Duo (Carolina Cortes y Juan David Castaño) and La Blanquita Farm (aka Cero39) who will be DJing throughout the night. It should be a classic!
The night will offer a real mix of Colombian sounds, from the experimental canción of Andrés Gualdrón Y Los Animales Blancos to the folkloric sounds of Carmin Duo and on to the tropical beats that will no doubt be emanating from La Blanquita Farm’s selections.
Of course, copies of the Sounds and Colours Colombia book will also be available on the night.
Matik-Matik is centrally located in the Quinta Camacho neighbourhood of Bogotá. The exact address is Carrera 11 #67-20. It will cost $10k and will start at 9pm. For more info see the link below:
