Sounds and Colours Colombia Event in Bogotá

On Monday 25th February we will be holding a release party for the Sounds and Colours Colombia book at Casa Tomada bookshop in Bogotá. For the event, Sounds and Colours editor Russell Slater will be holding a discussion with Humberto Junca (artist, radio presenter and member of Las Malas Amistades) to mark the release of Sounds and Colours Colombia, a book and CD focused on the music and culture of Colombia.

The discussion will focus on Colombian culture and the release of Sounds and Colours Colombia. Topics of conversation will include:
– why Sounds and Colours decided to publish a book about Colombian music and culture
– the perception of Colombian culture abroad
– the role of art in fighting forgetfulness
– why the music scene in Bogotá is currently enjoying a great moment
– the resurgence of Colombian cinema
– among other topics

Sounds and Colours Colombia will be available for purchase at the event.
