Discos Pegaos Releases New Volume Of ‘Pegamentos’ Compilation Series

By 04 December, 2015

Discos Pegaos is back with the third instalment of their dance-oriented collection, Pegamentos. The first volume introduced new members of the crew and also invited like-minded producer Grandsonbeats, from the No Problema Tapes collective. For the second chapter they went the extra mile and obtained funds to get it released on vinyl.

On this new edition, they continue the search for that vanguard club music ready to turn on the dance-floors. Opening the party is the lady of the bunch, Valesuchi, with her hard-hitting beats and dark and evolving ambiances. Guest producer CVSPER, asociated with Future Frequencies from Santiago and Finesse Records from Monterrey, adds his future bass sound to the mix. Tonossepia is back with a new track in the series with his song “Yo Quiero Estar Contigo”, blending Latin influences with old school 90s house. Vaskular gets deep and atmospheric with “Meta” as the compilation comes to an end, then Janaki closes with his afro-flavoured “Hicks”.

There is something for everyone to pick and play. You could even use it as a road map to discover the works of these talented producers from Chile or simply enjoy the divergent sounds that are lighting up the nights of Santiago and its alternative clubs.
