Bomba Estéreo Return to London for July Summer Series Gig

By 14 June, 2022

In July, Colombian electro duo Bomba Estéreo will be returning to London for a special headline show at Somerset House.

Known for their eclectic blend of psychedelic sounds and traditional Colombian rhythms, the band will be performing hits from their latest release Deja, which we praised as “a celebration of life, loss and the electro-high that Bomba’s works inject into your ears”.

Comprised of founding members Simón Mejía and Li Saumet, the duo has most recently surged into the top five of the Billboard Global 200 with “Ojitos Lindos”, their collaboration with Puerto Rican reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny.

The open-air gig at the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court will form part of Somerset House’s July Summer Series, comprising 11 nights of gigs showcasing inspiring artists from around the world.

Tickets for this one-off performance in the capital on 10 July 2022 are now on sale, with doors opening at 19:30 on the night. Support will be provided by The Busy Twist, an electronic producer known for his collaborations with artists from Colombia and across Africa.
