EXCLUSIVE: La Gallera Social Club “Cuando Se Dice La Palabra Amigo”

By 09 June, 2014

We are extremely excited to bring you an exclusive new track from one of our favourite Venezuelan groups, La Gallera Social Club. Originally from Maracaibo (one of the hottest cities in the world!) but currently based in France, La Gallera represent Venezuela’s indigenous rhythms and Caribbean connections with productions that always push their sound and make them a worthy addition to the global bass scene.

“Cuando Se Dice La Palabra Amigo” is their latest track, a song dedicated to the Venezuelan poet Gustavo Pereira, using typical Venezuelan sabores to give musical form to his poem of the same name.

The track was recorded in the Ali Primera studio in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Carlos Guillen, Alexis Romero, Miguel Romero, Russica Colina and Ernesto Cepeda are the musicians that, as they themselves say “created this piece of music, dedicated to the arts and expressing oneself.”
