Alborada Films Screening Ginga Football Documentary as Part of Brazil Special

By 12 April, 2014

On May 8th, Alborada Films will be hosting an evening of Brazilian music, football and culture at The Forge in London. Central to the evening will be a screening of Ginga: The Soul of Brazilian Football, a new documentary by Marcelo Machado looking at why football is such an intrinsic part of the Brazilian identity.

In addition, there will be live Brazilian music from Jonathan Preiss and Juliano Fiori who will be playing samba de raiz, MPB and chorinho, and DJ sets from the Alborada DJ collective and guest DJ Mr Mogambo.

Sounds and Colours will be at the event and will no doubt have a few copies of our Brazil book with us, so if you’d like to get your hands on a copy then you should come along.

Alborada Films Brazil Special will take place on Thursday 8th May, starting at 6pm, at Forge Music and Arts Venue, London. You can find out more about the event at facebook.com/events/472777686185190/?fref=ts
