Azymuth To Tour Europe in Feb/March; Debut Album To Be Reissued
10 February, 2015Brazilian jazz/funk legends Azymuth will be touring Europe in February, followed by a UK leg in March. The tour marks 40 years since they released their seminal debut album Azimuth, which is set to be released on a special limited edition gatefold LP via Far Out Recordings on the 23rd Feb.
The Azimuth LP is already available exclusively through Sounds of The Universe until the official release date. The record features the classic Azymuth line-up of Jose Roberto Bertrami, Ivan Conti, Alex Malheiros and Ariovaldo.
Azymuth‘s current line-up – Alex Malheiro, Ivan Conti, Fernando Moraes – will be touring Europe throughout February and March, including dates at Ronnie Scott’s in London and across the UK. See the tour poster below for more details:
