Dekmantel Lands In South America For Tour Of Emblematic Local Club Nights

By 26 September, 2017

Netherlands based festival and collective, Dekmantel, which also runs one of the most interesting European independent labels right now, is taking the world by storm. Its association with Boiler Room has permitted millions of people to experience what it’s like to be there, making it one of the most desired destinations for party people that enjoy the alternative and edgier side of electronic music.

Now, if you are one of those alternative club attendants in South America, you can get a little closer to the Dutch outfit, thanks to a continental tour this year that will have them holding showcases in various cities. The shows will include the visits of the likes of DJ Bone, Legowelt, Call Super, Shanti Celeste, Interstelar Funk and, of course, the Dekmantel Soundsystem, but they also have joined forces with local organisers to mix it up with DJs and producers from every country they are visiting.

The tour starts at Santiago de Chile, where hosts Club Sauna have enlisted Andrea Paz, Diegors, Kamila Govorcin and Roman & Castro to support the show. Then they are heading to Brazil, where was also held the first ever out-of-country version of the festival, meaning that now it’s kind of their Latin embassy with representatives like Gop Tun, Cashu, Tessuto, Zopelar and Carrotgreen. In Colombia they will join Mansion Club resident Markovich in Medellín alongside Gladkazuka, Kruz and Mansvr, among others, in Bogotá. For the Peruvian edition, the local talent is represented by Aristidez, Luis Leon and Danny Em, the house alter ego of Elegante & La Imperial.
