Nostalgia For The Light Screening + Q&A with Patricio Guzman in London on Feb 2nd

By 31 January, 2012

There will be a London Premiere for Nostalgia for the Light, the new film from Patricio Guzman – and one that featured in many Best of 2011 lists – on February 2nd that will be followed by a Q&A with Guzman himself.

Patricio Guzmán (Battle For Chile, Salvador Allende, The Pinochet Case) is one of the legends of documentary. Nostalgia For The Light is his latest film, a visionary masterpiece for our time set in Chile’s Atacama Desert. There, people search the past to understand the present: while women comb through the sands for remains of loved ones “disappeared” by the Pinochet regime, astronomers peer into the cosmos to solve the riddle of the beginning of life.

The director Patricio Guzman will be answering questions following the screening.
