PREMIÈRE: First Listen to El Búho’s New Album ‘Camino De Flores’

Globally-acclaimed for his fusion of folklore with an organic electronic sound that notably draws influences from Latin America, El Búho continues his musical, and personal, journey. Life has taken him from his native England to Netherlands, Mexico, Argentina and now has him in France, a nomadic adventure that is well documented in his music.

His latest project is built around field recordings and fokloric instruments, making Camino De Flores a puzzle where you can try and guess where the beats and melodies come from, be it a bird, the rain or the sound of crunching leaves. They are sounds that clearly reflect the artist’s love for nature and respect for Latin American culture.

Set to be released on December 14th through Shika Shika – the label run by El Búho and Barrio Lindo – you can listen to the album below exclusively on Sounds and Colours:
