Tulipa Ruiz returns to London this December
14 December, 2011Tulipa is that rare artist who can combine high and low art, combining her rich, powerful voice with quirky, idiosyncratic melodies for catchy pop songs that could well be Brazilian classics of the future. She will be coming over to London from Sao Paulo on December 19th for a special show that will only set you back a fiver. Now that’s a Christmas bargain!
Tulipa made a big impression on her London debut in March earlier this year, and since then has played in the US – with David Byrne in attendance – and seen her star continue to grow. As with that her previous show she will play songs off her debut Efêmera album, an album which we chose as one of the Best of 2010.
