Chancha Via Circuito Drops Semillas EP

While we were compiling our favourite albums of 2012, drinking one too many sherries and getting ready for much festive frolics, one of our favourite Argentine producers dropped a new release. The Semillas EP is the latest offering from Chancha Via Circuito, and best of all, it’s available as a free download.

Chancha Via Circuito has gained many fans thanks to his mixture of Latin rhythms, prominent beats and knowledge of South American folk music and heritage, resulting in albums – such as 2011’s Rio Arriba – that unite the aura of the Andes and Argentina’s vast landscapes with the sound of the Buenos Aires dancefloor. Semillas EP carries along in much the same vein, offering a few more examples of why Chancha Via Circuito is so widely regarded.
