Marcos Valle announces European tour in support of Estatica

By - 17 September, 2010

Marcos Valle released the rather excellent Estática just last month (you can read our review of it HERE.) The album is a storming mix of all the classic Valle pop melodies, Rio style and expert craftmanship we’ve come to expect, and which he constantly toys with. In this incarnation the result is a mix of Elis Regina and Steely Dan, Sly and the Family Stone and Arthur Verocai, Sergio Mendes and Stevie Wonder. In short, everything that great music should be. He has just announced a string of dates for the Autumn when he will be coming to Europe:

18.11 Italy – Bologna/Bravo Café
19.11 France – Vernouillet/Théâtre
20.11 France – Paris/La Bellevilloise

22.11 UK – Edinburgh/Voodo Rooms
23.11 UK – Manchester/BOTW
24.11 UK – London/Ronnie Scotts
25.11 UK – London/Ronnie Scotts

26.11 Denmark – Copenhagen/Global Copenhagen

30.11 Germany – Berlin/Quasimodo
02.12 Germany – Munich/Bayerischer Hof

03.12 Austria – Vienna/Porgy & Bess

04.12 Portugal – Lisbon/Superbock em Stock Festival

There are currently no videos for the songs from Estática. There is always however some classic Valle action to keep us all going. Here is
