Quantic ‘1000 Watts’ European Tour Starts On June 22nd

By | 21 June, 2016

On his latest project Quantic has returned to his Flowering Inferno moniker for an album of roots reggae. Whereas his previous Flowering Inferno album, Dog With A Rope, had a really strong Latin flavour, on this one his Latin love is a little more diluted with just a couple of cumbias and the emphasis most definitely on classic reggae grooves.

1000 Watts features contributions from U-Roy, Alice Russell, Christopher Ellis (on the infectious title track), Nidia Gongora and Hollie Cook for a record that is seemingly made for summer, laden with good vibes, deep bass and solid uplifting melodies.

To promote the release Quantic is setting off on a European tour with his band, starting in Glasgow on Wednesday 22nd June. Full tour dates are at the bottom of the page.

You can buy/listen to 1000 Watts at quanticmusic.bandcamp.com/album/1000-watts.

Here’s a non-album track that Quantic has been playing a lot on tour recently, an undiluted shot of blissful summer vibes that will get you in the mood for the tour:
