Cal Jader’s Tropicalista: Best of 2013 Mix

By 18 December, 2013

A new Cal Jader mix is always an event, especially when it’s a 2013 special, and so we had no delays in posting this tasty new nugget from Cal aka the man responsible for Movimientos, an increasingly hard-to-define entity that puts on many of London’s finest Latin gigs and parties, as well as showcasing new worldwide Latin grooves via its SOAS Radio show and writing about various social issues/human rights and other Latin goings-ons via its blog.

This mix has been put together in part to celebrate the upcoming Tropicalista New Year’s Eve party in London, and features music from Dona Onete, Systema Solar, Abelardo Carbono, El Callegueso y la Mamba Negra, Bixiga 70 and Family Atlántica, amongst many other artists.

You can find out about the Tropicalista New Year’s Eve Party, which is produced by both Movimientos and Arriba La Cumbia here.
