Great day for Nacional Records as Choc Quib Town, Ana Tijoux and Nortec Collective receive Grammy nominations

Nacional Records, home of A Banda de Turistas, Choc Quib Town, Monareta, Cuarto Poder, Bomba Estereo and Ana Tijoux can certainly have a few drinks tonight as three of their artists received Grammy nominations. Colombia’s Choc Quib Town, Chile’s Ana Tijoux and Mexico’s Nortec Collective all received Grammy nominations in the Best Latin Rock, Alternative or Urban Album category. Not a bad feat when there are only five nominations in the category. They share the category with Draco Rosa and Grupo Fantasma. The Grammy Awards will happen on February 13th 2010.
