Far Out Recordings and Nat Geo Music both release free samplers on Amazon

By - 22 August, 2010

Far Out Recordings have recently released an eight-track sampler of some of the fine Brazilian music available on their label. Far Out who specialise in releasing new music from some of Brazil’s great composers such as Marcos Valle, Joyce and Los Ipanemas, as well as new acts including Clara Moreno and Sabrina Malheiros, offer this free mp3 sampler as a taster of some of the great Brazilian music they currently have on their label.

The sampler can be found

Nat Geo Music, the record label arm of National Geographic, have slowly been building up a roster of artists from all over the world. Of greatest interest to us here at Sounds and Colours is the signing of Forro in the Dark, New York’s finest proponents of Northeastern Brazil’s forró music, from whom there are two songs on the sampler.
